Our groundbreaking advancements deliver sharp graphics, clear text, and rich visuals with the widest field of view (FOV) in the thinnest waveguides in our history. This enables people to see and use their everyday applications overlaid on physical real-world environments, or in rich AR and 4D experiences.

Real World Visibility

See-through AR

Magic Leap’s see-through AR uses real surroundings with digital content layered on top. This enables users to maintain mobility and situational awareness without the disadvantages of current passthrough VR systems.

Passthrough VR

By contrast, current passthrough VR systems render a video stream of the user’s physical world with virtual content integrated into it, removing the user from the real world. This can cause lag, distortion, and discomfort for the user.
