Magic Leap, Inc. (“Magic Leap”) announced today that it has appointed Rio Caraeff as the company’s Chief Content Officer.
Formerly Caraeff served as the President and CEO of Vevo, the world’s leading all‐premium music video and entertainment platform with over ten billion monthly video views globally. Prior to co‐founding Vevo in 2009, Caraeff spent more than 20 years in technology, strategy & new business across all areas of entertainment for such companies as Universal Music Group, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Sony Digital Media Ventures, Sony Music Entertainment and Capitol Records Group.
In this newly‐created role at Magic Leap, Caraeff will be responsible for the development, operations and business management of Magic Leap’s cloud‐based ecosystem and media network.
