Magic Leap is expanding its leadership team, adding Anuj Gosalia as Chief Software and Cloud Officer. As Magic Leap continues to drive Augmented Reality adoption in the enterprise market, a deepened focus on novel software and cloud development is an essential step in the company’s evolution.
Anuj, in this new role, will manage all cloud and software end-to-end development. Anuj and his team will focus on building an enterprise-ready software platform to simplify integration of Magic Leap technology for enterprise companies of all sizes.
Anuj brings more than twenty years experience leading software development for technology giants including Google, Facebook and Microsoft to the role. Prior to Magic Leap, Anuj Gosalia was a Senior Engineering Director at Google. One of his accomplishments while at Google was to grow ARCore, a smartphone AR platform, from zero to one billion installs. Previously, Anuj led the software team at Oculus and the Windows Graphics organization at Microsoft.
In this role, Anuj will work closely with Paul Greco, who assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer last fall after more than 8 years leading the company’s hardware research and development, systems engineering, manufacturing and supply chain. Paul in his new role as CTO will continue to have responsibility for all Hardware and will now also lead all next generation systems.
